Die Leica Standart  wurde im Oktober 1932 als Basismodell eingef�hrt. Die Mehrheit der
Leica  Standart Kameras sollte  noch vor dem 2.Weltkrieg hergestellt werden. W�hrend der
40er Jahre baute Leitz - New York Standart Modelle aus Ersatzteilen zusammen und best�ckte
diese mit Wollensak-Objektiven aus dem USA. Die Objektive trugen auch das Logo
Leitz - New York.  

The Leica way of stand was introduced in October 1932 as a base model.
The majority of the Leica stand kind of camerae still should be produced before the 2nd World War.
Leitz improved -- New York stand kind models from spare parts together and this fitted the USA with Wollensak objectives from this during the forties.
The objectives also bore Leitz, New York, the logo.
